Pennex Export Packers are able to offer full BS 1133 case specification for export packing of any type of machinery. Examples range from small pump assemblies, Caterpillar generator sets to large boiler installations and complete production line installations. All export cases of this specification are built in softwood timber specially grown in purpose managed renewable plantations all compliant with the UK wood marking programme and ISPM-15.

Heavy machinery is export packed with intricate and detailed framework to ensure full support and no movement of the packed materials during transit.

Wooden Crates and Cases are manufactured to withstand the rigours of transportation designed to take constant lifting before arrival to destination.

All export cases are waterproofed and fully lined to prevent water damage. Goods that are to be exported to a humid climate can be packaged in heat sealed polythene or aluminium barrier foil to prevent moisture damage.

Types can range from sea freight softwood style machine cases or BER wooden cases, plywood cases, crate style cases as well as Airfreight style cases designed to be lightweight yet strong to minimise on freight costs. Any specification can be designed.

Often full case packing is not required. We can offer palletising, basing and shrink wrapping services to ease lifting of the goods and to provide a degree of protection from the elements. We specialize in the basing and bundling of industrial pipe work and tubing.
