Receiving

Equipment received from suppliers/clients is weighed in, photographed for condition upon request, and measured as required and then located in dedicated storage bays according to shipment date and logged into the Goods received register prior to any packing and containerisation.

Verification

Verifications of equipment received will be undertaken to include a visual and count check of the cargo against equipment schedules and or vendors supplied packing list.

Following inspections any noticeable damage will be reported together with Goods received notes to the Client in pre-agreed format by fax/e-mail on a daily basis.

Storing

Whilst in storage, Pennex offer cargo consolidation and marshalling according to customer requirements.

Container and Truck stowing

To load goods into containers / trailers ensuring:

• Maximum volumetric/weight stow is obtained
• Cargo is adequately stowed and blocked to prevent movement and damage in transit.
• Cargo is evenly distributed along the container/trailer to ensure even weight distribution with lighter cargo stowed above heavy goods
• All goods are adequately packed/protected to prevent damage in transit.
